Best Bear Bunch Review *Sponsored* Personalized Gifts

Brief History of the Best Bear Bunch (sponsor)

"A young talented artist and a teddy bear collector in Miramar, Florida, Sheila Philipp sculptured several pieces of inch-tall solid teddy bears, in 1988. She named the concept Bear Family Sofa and started selling her teddy bears in her yard, then expanded her business to the several local malls in Southern Florida quickly, using the new business name "Bears Etc." She had some 300 painters in 1996 in her workshop, and opened over a dozen kiosks in Atlanta, GA, for the event of the Centennial Olympics. Bears, Etc. became well known in the USA and in the world. In 2002, Sheila sold her business to Bears in Chairs in NJ (the new trade name as Best Bear Bunch)." ~ From their website.

#Giveaway - Supporting Our Troops with Love #MilSo Gear

Supporting Our Troops with Love (sponsor) was started by Melodie when her Soldier deployed while they were dating in 2005.

"I am a proud wife of a veteran. I didn't get to live the full military lifestyle because my husband was in the National Guard but I did get to experience deployment which is when Supporting our Troops with Love was born. It started in 2005 when my husband was deployed to Iraq. I decided I wanted a National Guard girlfriend shirt to wear when I went to see him leave and couldn't find a shirt that fit my personality. I searched the internet and stumbled upon Cafepress. I actually bought one from another shopkeeper but once he left, I decided that I could design the shirts myself and that is when Supporting our Troops with Love took off."

Guest Post: Interior Design Trends that will Never Die #Design #Trends

Interior design is a passion for many people. There are those that love nothing more than to completely overhaul the look and feel of a room or even an entire home. In many cases it can be a big job to not only choose the style of a room and home but also actually creating the look can be time consuming and can be quite expensive.

There is no rush to create the new look over night; it is something that can be done gradually to make sure just the right look is created.

Interior design has been a popular past-time for years and there are some trends that show no sign in losing popularity…

Textured, Patterned and Featured Wallpaper
Wallpaper is the perfect tool to transform a room. There are so many different styles patterns and colours available that making the final choice can actually be the hardest decision. The most recent trend is to have one wall in a room that has vibrant or heavily patterned covering it, otherwise known as a ‘Feature wall’. Wallpaper not only brings much needed style and colour to a room, but also makes the space feel warmer and cosier, something which is so important in spaces such as the living area.

Mirrors
One of the most popular trends and not just for vanity reasons. Mirrors reflect the light that enters a space and creates a larger feel within a room. They come in all shapes and sizes and fit easily within any room. Yes, they are often seen as a necessity, but they can also be used as a main feature within a room and create elegance, a modern feel, or simply used to fill an empty space on a wall or a corner for example.

Four Poster Beds
Four-poster beds are the epitome of elegance and style. They are one trend that will never lose favour as they create a regal feel to any bedroom. They are perfect for any age and gender and can again be the main feature within a room as they naturally dominate and draw the eye within any space. The perfect thing about a four-poster bed is the fact they do not have to be huge in size, you are able to easily get single and princess beds in four-poster so they can fit within any space no matter how restricted you are.

Hallway Runners
Hallway runners are adored not only for the style they bring but also for the practicality of them. Hallways are typically small spaces that don’t allow for much design and style. Hallway runners perfectly protect the flooring in the hallway and add some warmth and vibrancy to a restricted space. Whether they are antique, modern, creative or vibrant, they are able to easily tie in with the style of the rest of the home in the simplest of ways.

Venetian Blinds
Again, they are loved for their practicality. They give the opportunity to shut the world out and allow you to enjoy the privacy of your own home. The blinds keep out the light and create a feeling of security and retreat. They are a real design feature, similar to that of curtains and can fit all window sizes in any room and be stylish and well used.

Aprons - because every home needs at least 2

This past week, I was feeling crafty.  Like really feeling crafty and creating projects for the sake of crafting.  I made a coffee centerpiece (that post isn't quite ready yet) and then I got to thinking about last weekend when we were at Hubs' Grandparents' place.  Grandma was looking for her cooking apron, because she wasn't sure where she set it down.
Now Grammy is the type of lady who cooks for everyone.  Everyone!  Every long weekend, Holiday or special event she is cooking for a group.  She also just has all kinds of goodies around the house just incase someone stops by.  She reminds me so much of my Gramita.
Because of my Gramita, I have an appreciation for aprons in the kitchen.  First, they can be cute and festive for Holidays.  Plus they keep your clothes from getting covered in flour and kitchen junk, and it keeps whatever is on your clothing.....off of your food!  Gramita use to say that every home needed at least 2 kitchen aprons, and every woman needed a red pair of shoes.  I have taken that advice to heart!  I may or may not...have an addiction to aprons.  :)

Will the Keys find their way Home?

Bare with me here for a minute, my age is going to be showing with this post.
We are going to start by stepping back in time...... 12 years - give or take.  It was spring of 2002, roughly 6-9 months after 9/11 happened.  I was 20 years old, and living in Nebraska.
Actually living with my Grandparents at the time, one had just had major shoulder replacement surgery - and while she was in surgery my Grandpa had a heart attack in the waiting room.
It was a crazy time, I was working and going to school.  Trying to help them out as much as I could and one day between work and class I stopped home to grab something, and ran upstairs to talk to the G-parents real quick.
I may have been upstairs 5 minutes and I didn't even stop in the basement for anything.  As I went to leave I could not find my keys.  They were gone!  I only had 30 minutes to get into Lincoln - from Weeping Water which is more like a 45 minute drive so I searched a bit, grabbed my spare key and left.  I figured by the time I got home, Papa (Grandpa) would have seen them laying somewhere obvious and all would be better.
I should know better, I do now but back then I was still learning the hard lesson of "If it can happen, it will - and in Jessi's home".  Over the years, it has become obvious that the "highly unlikely" is very likely in my house, no matter which state it is.  Anyways, I am getting off track.
